Mr. Rinaman obtained his law degree in 1989 from Florida State University. While in law school, Mr. Rinaman also attended FSU’s Summer study program, at St. Edmund’s College of Law, located at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
Prior to law school, Mr. Rinaman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, at the University of Florida.
After law school, Mr. Rinaman served in the Army Judge Advocate Corps from 1990-1996, and then joined insurance defense firms in Florida, where he practiced from 1997-2003. Before joining Dutton Law Group, Mr. Rinaman practiced with his own insurance defense firm, from 2003-2016.
Professional organizations in which Mr. Rinaman is a member include the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Medical Claims Defense Network, for which he has served on its board of directors since 2010.
In addition to being admitted to the Florida Bar, Mr. Rinaman has also practiced and been admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Rinaman has frequently lectured on many topics related to PIP and Medical Claims Fraud for the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (2005-2016) and the Medical Claims Defense Network.
Mr. Rinaman has tried jury trials in both the Circuit and County Courts throughout North Florida and handles primarily medical claims (No-fault), auto, truck, and marine liability, premises liability, as well as SIU matters.
