As our caseload grows, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bodily Injury Paralegal to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law, specifically in handling medical records, chronologies, and summaries. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and the experience to support attorneys in all stages of pre-litigation and litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Review, request, and organize medical records
- Draft clear and concise medical chronologies and summaries
- Identify key injuries, treatments, and gaps in care
- Communicate with providers, clients, and insurance companies
- Assist with demand packages and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
- Support attorneys with case development and strategy
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and treatment timelines
- Proven experience drafting detailed medical chronologies and summaries
- Excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with litigation support\
- Familiarity with Clio is a plus
