Kelly Ryan is a litigation attorney with extensive experience in insurance defense and complex construction and commercial litigation since 1989. She serves as “Of Counsel” to Dutton Law Group and is situated in the Orlando, Florida office. Ms. Ryan’s practice since 1989 has primarily focused on PIP defense and strategies; auto, property and casualty insurance defense; and construction litigation defense. Through her law firm affiliations, Kelly has represented insurers in both state and federal courts, including State Farm Insurance Companies, State Farm Fire & Casualty Company, Progressive, GEICO, Auto Owners, Zurich North America, and American Colonial Insurance Company.

From 1990 until 1997, Kelly served concurrently on both the original Seminole County and Orange County Mediation Oversight Committees, which created and developed the procedures for the present day county court mediation programs for both counties. From 1995 until 2004, Ms. Ryan served as a member on the original Traffic Hearing Officer Committee for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, responsible for implementing the Seminole County Traffic Hearing Officer Program. During that time, Kelly also served as a Seminole County Traffic Hearing Officer. From 1998 until 2012, Kelly also practiced as a Florida Supreme Court certified Circuit Civil mediator, primarily mediating complex commercial and insurance litigation matters.

Ms. Ryan graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 and received her juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1988, where she served for two years as a member of the school’s highly competitive Moot Court Team.

Personally, Kelly enjoys her family, including a husband of 29 years, three children, and two horses and a dog, as well as Gator Football, coaching track & field, traveling and politics.
